Kids will jump for joy, adults will join in too,

Bringing cheer to all the land is just what Dave will do!

A day or two ago, I hung you on a hook

Our Christmas theme is now complete since we have Dashing Dave.

Sir it's cold outside - You really can't stay

We've got a baby outside - There's just no space today

What can we do - I have nothing for you
We need a room - The inn is full, there's just no room

I really need to find a place - I sure wish I had more space

Our baby He's coming today - Joseph I don't know what to say

Please sir there's no time to waste - If only I had some more space

I really wish we could stay - Any other day but today

Mary my dear - Wait, one moment sir

There is no room here - I think have an idea

I guess we'll move on  - The stable out back

we'll find a place to stay - It's warm and it has some hay

Mary did you hear what he said - Come and we'll make you a bed

There's a place out back for the night - I really hope you'll be alright

He's letting us stay - We're glad you came

The baby's coming tonight!! (together)

Just look at His eyes - The baby, He's here

How they light up the skies - Yes, the baby is here

He was sent here to us - This sight is so glorious

from God above - He fills my heart with love

And the world will know that He's here - I see some guys coming near

Their way will be lit by the star - I don't know who they are

The angel said we shouldn't have fear - But they have some gifts to bear

What if God was a baseball and life was the game?

There’s the baseball, clothed in white but highlighted with red.

There’s the bat, hard and always looking to hit the ball.

There’s the glove, used to catch and harness the ball.

There’s the hitter who tries to beat the cover off of the ball and hit it out of the park.

There’s the pitcher who delivers the ball and tries to get it past the hitter.

There’s the catcher who is seeking a delivery of the ball from the pitcher.

There’s the fielder who tries to catch the ball and get it back to the pitcher.

There’s the umpire who is judging the location of the ball.

There’s the fan who sits watching this game between the bat and the ball.

There’s the announcer who talks about the ball and how it's being used.

There’s the scoreboard which tracks where the ball has been.

Without the ball there would be no game.

Without the bat many of the players would have a different role.

Without the glove the game would be a little more painful for the players and they would be less successful at harnessing the ball.

The ball exists.

The bat exists.

Let's provide the players with a glove so they can catch the ball, because, when the game ends with the ball in your glove, you win!
